Aeroglen is a suburb of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north of the Cairns city centre. The suburb is named after the Aeroglen Creek, which runs through the area.
The area was first settled in the late 19th century, when the first settlers arrived in the area. The first settlers were mainly farmers and graziers, who established small farms and orchards in the area.
In the early 20th century, the area was developed as a residential suburb. The first houses were built in the 1920s, and the suburb was officially named Aeroglen in the 1930s.
In the 1950s, the suburb was further developed, with the construction of a number of public amenities, including a school, a library, a post office, and a shopping centre.
