Agrigento is a city located on the southern coast of Sicily, Italy. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean and is home to the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has a long and rich history, dating back to the 6th century BC when it was founded by Greek colonists from Gela. It was an important city in the ancient world, and was home to the Temple of Concordia, one of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world.
