Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castle Day Trip from Munich

Munich, Bavaria (255)

Summary

On our recent trip to Germany, we visited Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Castle. Both castles are beautiful and well worth a visit. However, I think my favorite part of the trip was the day trip from Munich. We drove out to the castles and then spent the rest of the day hiking and exploring the surrounding area. It was a great way to spend a day and I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.
