Melk Abbey and Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna

This day trip takes you from Vienna to the Wachau, a picturesque valley along the Danube. You will see many medieval castles, grand monasteries and a breathtaking landscape. Passing the small town of Krems and the ruins of Dürnstein castle, we continue to the village of Spitz on the Danube river. From here you will have an impressive boat trip on the Danube to Melk (only in summer) or you will have a lunch & walking tour through Krems or Dürnstein (winter) The Highlight will be the guided tour through the magnificent Benedictine Abbey. All the tours will be carried out in small groups with all the necessary COVID-19 health and safety measures.
