If you have purchased the optional summit access you may then take another elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower! As per the regulations of the Eiffel Tower, if you have upgraded your tour to access the summit, you are required to proceed directly to the summit upon reaching the second floor. Once you have visited the top, you are free to explore the first and second floors on your descent. Please note this is NOT a skip-the-line tour and sometimes wait periods with your guide can be up to an hour and a half or more during peak periods. Don’t worry — your guide will keep you entertained to help the time fly by!

For those who bought the Summit Access option, you will take a lift from the 2nd level up to the summit, where you can see Gustave Eiffel’s office, along with panoramic maps.
