Beatles Walking Tour of London

We start off at probably the most famous road crossing in the world at Abbey Road, just a few feet from the Abbey Road Studios then visit the home of Sir Paul McCartney who has lived there for over 50 years. A short journey on the tube will takes us to posh and fancy Mayfair and he will will visit various homes and places important to the story of The Beatles including the offices where many of them married, the former home of John Lennon then to the only home where they all lived after arriving from Liverpool. To Piccadilly to see the location of their final public performance before walking through the vibrant district of Soho which was & still is renowned for its music and entertainment to see where The Beatles got some of their memorable outfits made, where their famous logo was designed and much more. Throw in a touch of the Rolling Stones, a smattering of David Bowie, the chance to visit parts of London off the usual tourist routes & it all makes for a great tour.

  • 5 minutes: From the outside we'll see the Abbey Road Studios. Bring a pen and you can sign your names on the wall outside.
  • 5 minutes: A chance to walk on the famous Abbey Road crossing.
  • 5 minutes: See the outside of the beautiful home of Sir Paul McCartney,
  • 5 minutes: See the beautiful building where several Beatles weddings took place.

  • 5 minutes: This street is more famous for its fine tailoring but it was here that The Beatles created the Apple label and played their last ever performance together.
  • 10 minutes: The location of the Album cover photograph for the famous David Bowie album... and a few other sights too.
  • 5 minutes: One of the top clubs for bands to socialise in the 1960's and where Paul met Linda.
  • 5 minutes: See the mural that was the inspiration for the album cover of Sgt Pepper.
  • 5 minutes: Where The Beatles had their famous collar suits made.
  • 5 minutes: Where The Rolling Stones began
  • 5 minutes: The location for an iconic Beatles photo
  • 5 minutes: Where Brian Epstein bought the drum set from and had the iconic Beatles logo designed and put on the drum.
  • 5 minutes: Where The Beatles recorded Hey Jude. Countless other big stars recorded music here too.
  • 10 minutes: The offices of MPL, where Paul McCartney's business empire is run from.
  • 10 minutes: Many famous bands would eat at La Giaconda. Where amongst other things, John and Paul did a favour for The Rolling Stones by helping out with their first hit, I Want To Be Your Man.
